While watching this I immediately thought of the Gabriel Garcia Marquez short story "Light is Like Water." Go read it. Seriously. It will take you two minutes.

Cool video. Marquez is one of my favorite writers, on my top ten favorite books of all time is a book by him called Of Love and Other Demons . If you like Marquez and you haven't read it, you should definitely give it a read.
